For those who know me well, you will be aware that the majority of my wardrobe is from Zara. I only really discovered Zara when starting uni, even though it's been in my town for years. My style really changed recently while I've been on my little happiness journey, and Zara has been a saving grace for my fashion sense. I feel their clothes make me feel more grown up and mature, compared to when I used to wear Pretty Little Thing all the time. It's always good quality, while still relatively affordable.
During A/W they've brought out some amazing pieces, some of which I have brought myself, and others I am still eyeing from a distance, but I wanted to share my favourite 7 items this season.
1. Flat Ankle Boots With Chain - £19.99 (Special Price)
These square topped boots made from plastics and rubber, with a golden chain across the top have not left my Instagram explore page this last week. Chelsea boots are always in for autumn, and look lovely with nearly every outfit. These have a very small heel and a pull elastic on the top. I brought a similar pair minus the chain just recently from H&M, so therefore won't be getting these, however I do really love these shoes, and a great staple shoe for the colder seasons. Such an amazing sale price too! However if you do get these, remember to wear boot socks when wearing them in to avoid painful ankles, don't say I didn't warn you :)
2. Wool Blend Coat - £119
I am obsessed with this coat! Every time I walk into Zara I stare this one down, and will definitely be a Christmas present to myself as soon as I can bring myself to spend more money on coats. The colour is so beautiful, and it's 100% what I've been drawn to most this Autumn, which is surprising as I am usually a burgundy type of girl.
3. Halter Neck Bodysuit - £12.99
This is just a really staple item isn't it. I'm sure if you are anything like me, you have at least one friend that has one of these. They do them in a range of colours, I have the red and white, and perfectly cling to the body, pairing perfect with a skirt or jeans. I like these as they are simple, and go well with patterned bottoms and skirts. For the price you can't go wrong.
4. Knit Cullottes - £29.99
One of my newest Zara purchases, and one of my favourites. These knitted cullottes are part of their 'Join Life' range meaning at least 25% of the fibres are made from recycled polyester which is always a plus. They fit me lovely and flatter an hourglass figure well, amazing to wear around house in lockdown due to the soft, cosy fabric, or out and about styled with a tight fitting tee. 5. Oversized Wool Blend Cardigan - £29.99
I saw this in my local Zara store, and think it would be perfect to wear all year round. It's a beautiful light blue with balloon sleeves, and a unique button detailing. This again is made from at least 25% of recycled polyester fibres, and would look amazing styled with a patterned skirt or skinny jeans.
6. Twisted Knit Top TRF - £12.99
Not much to say about this, but I've had this for a couple months now and it's a really nice casual crop to wear with some jeans and checkerboard vans. Really easy to style, and comfortable to wear, fantastic price and again you can't go wrong.
7. Knit Crossover Top - £9.99 (Special Price)
Firstly I want to say me and my friend Evie both brought this top for £19.99 and it goes into the sale a couple days later. Typical Zara for you. Either way this top is really flattering, shows quite a lot of cleavage, but nothing too exposing. Again in this 'forest biome' colour, the bottom ties into a bow, cinching the waist, made from a thick knitted material to keep you warm and snug for the winter weather. Really happy with this purchase, and looks great with the knit cullottes.
